First Home Owner Grant
The First Home Owner Grant is a one-off payment for eligible applicants who purchase or build a new home in Tasmania.
The new home must not have been previously occupied or sold.

New Home Builders Rebate
New home builders may be eligible for a rebate of their land tax after they move into their newly built home.

Property Transfer Duty Relief
Duty (previously know as stamp duty) is charged by the Tasmanian Government when an interest in dutiable property is acquired, for example by buying real estate.
You may be eligible for a concession or exemption from paying duty on the purchase of your land or house and land package.

Duty concession for pensioners downsizing to a new home
This concession provides a 50 per cent reduction of property transfer duty for eligible pensioners who sell their former home in Tasmania and downsize by buying another home in Tasmania
