Home Guarantee Scheme
The Home Guarantee Scheme supports eligible home buyers to buy a home sooner by reducing the deposit you need to buy a home to help you avoid having to pay lenders mortgage insurance. The scheme is administered by Housing Australia on behalf of the Australian Government.
The scheme includes three types of guarantees:
First Home Guarantee supports eligible home buyers with a deposit as little as 5 per cent
Regional First Home Buyer Guarantee supports eligible regional home buyers with a deposit as little as 5 per cent
Family Home Guarantee supports eligible single parents and eligible single legal guardians of at least one dependent with a deposit as little as 2 per cent.

First Home Super Saver Scheme
The first home super saver scheme allows you to make personal voluntary contributions into your super fund to help you save for your first home.
This can help you boost your savings for your first home by building your deposit inside the concessionally taxed superannuation system.
Using the scheme, you can contribute up to $15 000 in any one financial year, up to a maximum of $50 000.

Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme
The Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme helps current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families achieve home ownership.
The scheme helps by making monthly subsidy payments towards the interest component of your mortgage payments.
